The area of the nine peaks has nearly 655 species of plants under 123 families and 415 genera. It has the most abundant plant resources in Shanghai.

Xiaoshe Mountain: Celtis sinensis-Shibataea chinensis (Cyperus alternifolius)-Poa acroleuca Steud.(Carex tristachya)-Trachelospermum jasminoide colony: The arborous layer is dominated by Celtis sinensis, accompanied by Zelkova serrata, Symplocos paniculata, Swida wilsoniana, Aphananthe aspera Planch., Robinia pseudoacacia L., Ulmus parvifolia Jacq., Ligustrum sinense Lour., Quercus fabri Hance, Ehretia thyrsiflora, Ligustrum lucidum, Symplocos setchuensis Brand, Sapium sebiferum, Firmiana simplex, Albizia julibrissin, Celtis julianae Schneid, Cinnamomum camphora, Pistacia chinensis, Pseudolarix amabilis, Vitex negundo var. cannabifolia., Morus alba L. and Cudrania tricuspidata.

The shrub layer is dominated by Shibataea chinensis, Cyperus alternifolius and Rubus lambertianus Ser., accompanied by Ligustrum sinense Lour., Indocalamus latifolius, Rosa multiflora Thunb., Ilex cornuta Lindl., Rubus hirsutus Thunb, E.pungens, Acanthopanax gracilistylus, Bredia hirsuta var. scandens, Lindera glauca, Photinia serrulata Lindl., Elaeagnus argyi Levl., Rhamnella franguloides, Rhamnus globosa, Serissa foetida and other shrub species.

In the shrub layer, there are also many arbor species, such as: Aphananthe aspera Planch., Cinnamomum camphora , Zelkova serrata, Symplocos paniculata, Ulmus parvifolia Jacq., Fraxinus chinensis, Robinia pseudoacacia L., Ligustrum lucidum, Quercus fabri Hance, Mallotus repandus, Ehretia thyrsiflora, Sapindus, Celtis julianae Schneid and Celtis sinensis. The herbaceous layer is dominated by Poa acroleuca Steud. and Carex tristachya, accompanied by Semiaguilegia adoxoides, Herba Lophatheri, Chrysanthemum indicum, Pieris multifida, Lygodium japonicum, Ajuga decumbens Thunb., Paederia scandens, Pteridium aquilinum, Boehmeria longispica, Stellaria media, Carex scabrifolia, PolygonumorientaleL., Asplenium incisum and etc. Interlayer plants are dominated by Trachelospermum jasminoides, accompanied by Ficus pumila, Akebia quinata, Euonymus fortunei and Wisteria sinensis.
