The Shanghai Chinese Rose Exhibition opened in the Chenshan Botanical Garden in Sheshan National Tourist Resort on April 30 and it is scheduled to run for one month.
Last year – at the 19th World Rose Convention held in Adelaide, in Australia – the Chenshan Botanical Garden's Chinese rose garden stood out from 12 rose gardens participating in the world and won the title of "World Excellent Rose Garden".
This is China's fifth rose garden to receive this honor and the first located in Shanghai.
The Chenshan Botanical Garden's rose garden covers an area of about 36,000 square meters and was opened to the public in 2010. May is the best viewing period for Chinese roses. Let's take a look at it!
