Explore Sheshan At the southwestern foot of West Sheshan and on the former site of Xuanmiao Temple, there are a few buildings. Here lies Sheshan Monastery – a cradle of Catholic priests in China.

After Xia Yunyi and his son Xia Wanchun, two heroes resisting the Qing Dynasty in the late Ming Dynasty, were sacrificed, they were buried at Dangwan village, 1.5km north of Xiaokunshan. Now it is a heritage site under the protection of Shanghai.
