What is New Shanghai’s Happy Valley has introduced more entertainment projects.
There will be a Sheshan Happy Summer Carnival for 2014, at the Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort, in the Songjiang district, July 5 to Aug 31.
Shanghai’s Shimao quarry hotel, which started construction in 2013, is the world’s first 'underground' 5-star cave hotel which is being built into an abandoned quarry. It is located in Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort in Songjiang district, at an altitude of minus 80 meters.
Guangfulin Relic Park, located in the south of the Sheshan National Tourist Resort, is under construction and is expected to be finished in 2016.
Phase II of Happy Valley will open on July 5, signifying the preliminary completion of the tourism and leisure region at Sheshan National Tourist Resort.
There was a parent-child emergency and safety event at the Shanghai Sheshan Children’s Camp, on June 28, centered on the family to give people with young children the knowledge and skills they need in case of emergencies.
InterContinental Shimao Shanghai Wonderland, developed by Shanghai Shimao Property Group and to be managed by the InterContinental Hotels Group, is expected to open in late 2014 or early 2015.
The Yuz Museum, a private establishment by Malaysian-Chinese collector Budi Tek, recently celebrated its grand opening.
