Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden was listed in the 2nd Top Ten Best Scenes in the Shanghai New Impression contest.
Chenshan Botanical Garden has received a significant amount of positive comments and won high praise from various visitors since it opened on Jan 23, 2011. In connection with the geographic and climatic characters, Chenshan Botanical Garden was laid out with 26 special gardens in different categories, including the Conservatory, Quarry Garden and more.
Over 9,000 distinctive plant species were collected including many national key protected plants. The rich and beautiful plant landscapes made the botanical garden a leisure place for the general public and it was described as the "Green Pearl" of the city by the public. It came in 2nd with 226,921 online votes in the Shanghai New Impression contest.
There are other famous places and scenic spots under the same category in the contest, including Shanghai Oriental Sports Center and Shanghai New International Expo Center.
