The Shanghai Happy Valley Carnival Festival successfully finished on August 26. The carnival festival lasted 58 days from July 30 to August 26 and impressed tourists with a fun summer experience.
The carnival festival held samba shows, exotic performances and "News Eye" activities.
During the carnival, the 2012 London Olympic Games was launched. The entire amusement park was infected with the Olympic spirit. Wu Xingfen, a teacher for left-behind children in rural areas, passed the torch of the London Olympic Games across the seven theme parks at Shanghai Happy Valley.
The carnival also celebrated Chinese Valentine's Day. Happy Valley held romance-themed activities to attract many couples. During the activities, a man proposed on stage to his girlfriend, bringing attention and excitement to the event.
After the splendid carnival festival, Shanghai Happy Valley will launch the Magic Festival from Sept 30 to Oct 7.
