Galerie Dumonteil Shanghai will hold an exhibition of bronzes by sculptor Wang Keping. Wang was considered "one of the few artists with the capacity to influence the evolution of contemporary art" by the curator of the Maillol Museum of Paris. The artist will present nearly 20 bronzes transformed from wooden sculptures. It is the first bronze exhibition for Wang in China. Exhibits include his important creations in the early 1980s, Silence and Idol.
