Shanghai Ink and Wash Painting Art Show opened at Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden recently. Masterpieces from 41 artists were displayed at the show.
The art show was planned by Shanghai Taolin Culture and Art Company and jointly organized by Xinmin Evening News and Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden. Master Wuduan, abbot of Xilinchan Temple and director of the Songjiang Buddhism Committee, created a calligraphy work for Chenshan and donated it to the garden.
The first Shanghai International Orchid Exhibition is also being held in the garden simultaneously. Visitors can not only enjoy the feast of orchids, but also appreciate the delicacy and profundity of the masterpieces.
