Shanghai's Pudong International Airport is building two mini 4D cinemas at its terminals that hold about 10 people each.
The mini-cinema at Terminal 2, equipped with seats that rock with the movie and spray mist, is expected to be finished by the end of the year, according to Shanghai local website Eastday.
Short movies with special effects of less than 10 minutes will be shown at these 4D cinemas.
A 3-meter-tall, 3.5-meter-wide screen was set up in the airport in June. The interactive wall offers games such as shooting a ball at a goal and rewards travelers with small prizes if they are successful. It is next to Gate 24 in Terminal 2.
Airport official Zhan Chengge was quoted by Eastday as saying that the interactive facilities would be the first of their type across the country.
