Chenshan Botanical Garden has long been enjoying a great reputation among visitors for its beautiful scenery and rich plant species. The only fly in the ointment might be the still yellow and withered grass in the cherry forest. Since the end of August, the garden has been engaged in grassland and soil improvement in its South American zone.

In addition to the long-term reconstruction scheme drafted at the beginning of 2013, some new targeted plans have also been made to better integrate resources and reduce cost. More than 12,000 square meters of lawn are already ready for use. Another 3,000 square meters of lawn, which were taken away for the new greenhouse, have also been moved into the reconstruction zone. Resources are being fully utilized. Some soil improvement tests are being conducted during the reconstruction process.

The project is now underway. Tourists can expect to go for a spring tour at Chenshan Botanical Garden by early next year.
