Fans of The Amazing Race now have a chance to experience similar thrills at Chenshan Botanical Garden. On October 20, Chenshan Botanical Garden held its first 'The Amazing Plant Searching Race'. A group of young 'scientists' participated in the competition.
On October 20, 36 students from the science club of Songjiang No 6 Middle School came to Chenshan Botanical Garden to attend the competition. The students were divided into nine groups. They were given clues by the garden and had to complete six plant-searching tasks within a given time. The first three groups to finish received special prizes from the botanical garden. The competition helped participants learn about plants.
The Amazing Plant Searching Race is based on the popular American reality show The Amazing Race. Chenshan Botanical Garden will continue to make innovations to popularize scientific knowledge through various activities in the days to come.
