Sheshan National Tourist Resort organizes training sessions

Sheshan National Tourist Resort organized training sessions in Lan Sun Mountain Villa between November 5 and 6 in a bid to improve service.

A total of 120 staff workers from seven hotels in the resort, including Lan Sun Mountain Villa, Shanghai Sheshan Forest Hotel, Shanghai Dazhong International Conference Hotel and Le Royal Méridien Shanghai attended the two-day training session.

The training includes two parts -- service etiquette and an introduction to the tourism industry in Sheshan National Tourist Resort.

In the training session on service etiquette, an experienced trainer raised trainee awareness of the importance of service etiquette through demonstration.

An introduction to the tourism industry in the Sheshan National Tourist Resort training session was given by Gao Guoxiang, vice-director of office of the Songjiang administration committee. Gao gave trainees a whole picture of what to “see and do” in the resort, including restaurants, hotels, transportation, sights, shopping and recreation.

As mentioned, follow-up training sessions are on the agenda.
