In the 2014 Sonjiang Youth Creativity Carnival, hosted by the Songjiang District Youth League Committee on March 2, youths from Chenshan Botanical Garden won the award for the most popular creative work.
During the event, young people from Chenshan designed a number of interactive pursuits, such as teaching how to identify plants, making corsages and cultivating succulent plants. Their activities attracted a number of participants and were especially appreciated by teenagers. Receiving 486 “likes”, creative works from Chenshan won the prize with a landslide advantage, beating 34 other competitors.
