From June 13 to 15, Chenshan Botanical Garden in Shanghai sent its marketing team to attend Songjiang Chenshan tourism promotion gala in the cities of Changshu, Kunshan, and Taicang in Jiangsu province.
Chenshan's promotion targeted self-drive and family-tour visitors. Based on three popular spots – Yuanshan Mountain Garden Square in Changshu, Forest Garden Square in Kunshan and Nanyang Square High Street in Taicang – the marketing team distributed over 1,000 tourism promotion leaflets to passers-by. In particular, the "Magic Nights" summer camp activity was popular with students.
The promotion was a good attempt to explore the potential tourism markets in Shanghai's surrounding area. Through setting up a booth and distributing leaflets, more residents got to know Chenshan's tourism resources.
