Since the weather has been turning colder, the Chenshan Botanical Garden at Sheshan National Tourist Resort in the Songjiang district of Shanghai, has been able to retain its special beauty even during this harsh season thanks to its abundance of evergreen plants.
The various plants that add some vitality to winter include hawthorn, pyracantha, holly, nandina (heavenly bamboo), Chinese holly, and Chinese flowering crab.
