The town of Sheshan in Shanghai's Songjiang district held a conference on building a Well-known Chinese Brand Demonstration Area, on Dec 30, with many enterprise representatives on hand to discuss ways to promote it by cooperating with enterprises.
The demonstration area will be situated in the Sheshan National Tourist Resort and the organizers got Lu Yangxian, head of Shanghai's Quality and Standardization Institute, to address the meeting, where he explained that that preparations for the demonstration need to consider the standardization of services and client satisfaction.

Some of the participants, in commenting on the preparations, said the organizing committee need to depend on their major enterprises and the media in their push for a demonstration area.
Gao Guoxiang, deputy director of the district committee who also addressed the gathering, concluded by saying that the resort should be responsible for protecting the ecology while working on development.
