The city of Shanghai's Sheshan National Tourist Resort, in Songjiang district, welcomed the vice-mayor Zhao Wen,and her delegation. They arrived to survey the construction of Sheshan Shimao quarry hotel and the safety management carried out in Shanghai Happy Valley.

Zhao pointed out that the Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration and Songjiang district should join hands to strengthen risk management. Taking measures to protect tourists’ safety in the resort, while making sure that employees get a large amount of emergency training exercises.

Sheshan Shimao quarry hotel, which started construction in 2013, is the world’s first 'underground' 5-star cave hotel that is being built into an abandoned quarry. It is located in the resort and at an altitude of minus 80 meters.
