Chenshan Botanical Garden, at the Sheshan National Tourist Resort, in Songjiang district of Shanghai, held a conference with the theme of Garden Safety and Security, on Jan 8, with the garden's vice-director, Shen Shuai and his delegation taking part.
Shen pointed out that safety must come first and regulators should learn a lesson from the stampede on the Bund on Dec 31 that left 36 people dead. It is also necessary to open safety education courses for related employees.
