A flower -and- bird painting exhibition is on the run till Feb 12 at Le Meridian She Shan in Shanghai's Sheshan National Resort, displaying several pieces of local painter Feng Xiangyun.
Feng studied ideologies and techniques in Japan during the 1980s, and held some exhibitions, during which times he exchanged ideas about eastern and western paintings with Japanese artists. He also opened a painting studio in Tokyo to teach and promote Chinese ink and wash painting.
