The Chenshan Grassland Broadcast Music Festival, the largest series of outdoor classical concerts in Shanghai, will be held on May 16 and 17.
The Chenshan Grassland Broadcast Concert, which has been successfully held in previous three years, is upgraded into a music festival this year. Two small stages will be added for special performance in the afternoon.
Tickets are now available. Prices range from 190 yuan ($33) to 480 yuan for two persons, and 280 yuan to 700 yuan for three, depending on different seats and dates.
The main performance will start at 6 pm. From 3:30 pm to 5:45 pm, there will be 10 shuttle buses picking up visitors at Dongjing station of Metro line 9. Audiences can take these buses for free to Dongjing station when the concert finishes.
The music festival will be held at the Gate 2 of Shanghai Chenshan Botanic Garden, at the crossroad of Shenzhuan Highroad and Shetiankun road.
