More than 2,000 runners joined a 5-kilometer Color Run at Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort on April 25.
The Color Run, also known as the happiest 5 km on the planet, is a unique paint race that promotes healthy living and celebrates individuality. It was the first time the event was held in Sheshan.
Runners wore white T-shirts at the starting point and they were hit with powder of different colors at each kilometer they passed. When they reached the finishing line, they were almost doused from head to toe in different colors.
A charity event was held after the running to raise money for students with financial difficulties in Songjiang district.
