Seventy couples took part in a "Kiss-In" at the Shanghai Happy Valley in Sheshan National Tourist Resort on Aug 30 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of China's victory in the War against the Japanese Aggression.
The men were dressed up as sailors and women as nurses to re-enact the image in an iconic photograph showing a US sailor kissing a nurse on Victory over Japan Day in Times Square 70 years ago. The participants also formed a graphic pattern of the figure "70".
