The fourth tournament in the 11th World Golf Championships, sponsored by the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC), closed at Shanghai Sheshan International Golf Club on Nov 8.
Russell Knox from Scotland won the championship with a score of 268, 20 below par, over the total four rounds. Twenty-year-old Li Haotong from Hunan province, China, finished seventh, the highest ranking that a Chinese golf player has ever achieved in the World Golf Championships.

This is the first championship that Russell has won after competing in the PGA Tour for four consecutive seasons. He earned $ 8.5 million in first-place prize money.

Li Haotong said it was unbelievable to take the seventh place and recognized the result as a milestone for him. He expressed his gratitude for all his supporters and promised to work harder to make more progress in the future.
