The Shanghai Sheshan International Golf Club won 1st rank on the "China's 100 greatest golf courses" list for the second consecutive year this November.

The list is composed by Golf Digest magazine, which hosted an award ceremony in Beijing where the Sheshan golf club topped that list, ranked 2nd on the magazine's "China's 10 greatest golf club" list and won third place on its "China's 10 greatest golf communities" list.
Every year the magazine invites professional judges to conduct the evaluation work. The courses are judged on the basis of eight indices including shot values, playability, resistance to scoring, design variety, memorability, esthetics, conditioning and ambience.

In addition, Sheshan International Golf Club topped the national golf club list and ranked 2nd on the golf caddie list conducted by another magazine, "Golf Punk", at an award ceremony held in Chuncheng, Kunming province, on Dec 16.
