To celebrate the opening of 3rd Shanghai International Orchid Show on April 22, Chenshan Botanical Gardens launched a children's artwork competition themed "I Love Orchids", with 180 paintings received so far and 50 selected to be displayed at the orchid show.
Using their vivid imaginations, students from schools across Shanghai drew the most beautiful orchids, using crayons, pencils and marker pens. Their works were filled with rich color and innocent character, leaving visitors deeply impressed.
A total of 50 excellent works have been selected for display at the visitor's hall near the No.1 Gate of the garden. Several junior reporters will also be on hand at the orchid show to record the all of the interesting moments this spring.
