A new fountain sprung up at the main gate of Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden in August, welcoming guests as they arrived at the national tourist resort.
The high-tech water fountain, located at the No 1 Gate Square, rises and falls according to programming on a computer which controls the fountain's movements.
The computer is able to make the fountain shoot a veil of water mist into the air in order to create the effect of a rainbow.
The latest water feature adds to the botanical gardens already lush landscapes and will surely become a focal spot for tourists to visit at the resort.
Under the guiding principle of botany and health, Chenshan Botanical Garden is a wonderful place for visitors to appreciate the beauty of nature and find inner peace. The garden has received many domestic and foreign visitors since its opening and has become a window for the outside world to observe and enjoy botany and Chinese culture.
