Osteospermum ecklonis, occasionally called cape daisy, is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the Calenduleae, one of the smaller tribes of the sunflower/daisy family Asteraceae. The species develops quantities of daisy-like flowers in a wide variety of colors including pink, purple, and white, and in shapes of disc florets or ray florets, or sometimes in inflorescences of terminal corymbose cymes.
