Shanghai Sheshan Tourism Resort highlighted its abundant tourism resources at the 2017 China International Travel Mart (CITM) held in Kunming, Southwest China's Yunnan province on Nov 17-19.
The China International Travel Mart, Asia's largest tourism trade fair, started in 2001 and has been held alternately in Shanghai and Kunming each year since then.
Jointly organized by the China National Tourism Administration, the Civil Aviation Administration of China and the Yunnan Provincial People's Government, CIMT 2017 was held in Kunming covering 70,000 square meters.
It held a total of 3,700 booths for exhibitors from 71 countries and regions worldwide, attracting more than 100,000 visitors.
Shanghai city was represented by 35 different booths and 31 exhibitors, with Sheshan National Tourism Resort's booth showcasing its abundant attractions including Chenshan Botanical Garden, Sheshan National Forest Park and Yuluxe Sheshan Hotel.
Sheshan hopes to popularize its various tourism products in an all-round manner and unfold its unique glamour. It also aims to become a national tourism demonstration area for all-for-one tourism.
