Hundreds of families got together in Chenshan Botanical Garden to participate in the hiking campaign to pray for New Year blessings on Jan 1.
The sponsor, Chenshan Botanical Garden, set up sign-in booths where visitors could select blessing cards to write their New Year blessings. After they arrived at the top of Chenshan Mountain, 71 meters high, families hanged their cards on the ancient tree to pray for good luck. Families also took photos with Chenshan special photo frames to capture the unforgettable moment.
In addition, the sponsor prepared elaborate gifts. The top 100 visitors to join the event got a personalized desk calendar and all the families could participate in the lottery to get five-star hotel coupons.
In recent years, Shanghai Cheshan Botanical Garden has hosted a series of social activities focusing on protecting green plants and keeping healthy which has developed into a renowned national brand delivering sports, happiness, and health.
The hiking event marks a strong beginning for green and healthy sporting activities of Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden in 2018.
