Thousands of senior citizens climb Sheshan
Climbing Sheshan mountain is one the most popular customs of the Chongyang festival. Sheshan will organize for thousands of Shanghai’s Senior citizens to participate in climbing activities at Sheshan National Forest Park on Oct 17.
The event includes a waist drum performance, climbing ceremony and a climbing mountain activity. The routes for climbing: climbing the steps - wooden trestle - BBQ area – sightseeing tower – go downhill – the gate of East Sheshan.
