A four-kilometer slow lane is to be open to the public next March in Sheshan National Tourist Resort, offering visitors a convenient way to ride their bikes or walk through the scenic park.
The lane starts from Sheshan Station of Line 9, through Moon Lake Sculpture Park, Happy Valley, Playa Maya Water Park and Chenshan Botanical Garden. The urban slow traffic network in Shanghai connects the beautiful scenery of Sheshan National Forest Park and green belts in the city, offering local residents a new way to enjoy some respite from the stresses of city life.
