Chenshan to exhibit the most beautiful water lilies

Chenshan Botanical Garden in Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort is to host its annual water lily exhibition from Aug 18 to Sept 18.

By then, over 300 varieties of water lilies are expected to make the botanical garden a harmonious oasis of flowers.

The exhibition is also the largest of its similarities in China. Every year, numerous flower lovers flock to the botanical garden and indulge themselves in the fairyland of lilies.

Visitors may also participate in a range of fun activities, including treasure hunts, VR tours and a chance to sit on some giant lily leaves.

As a warm-up activity, a lecture on the fun facts about water lilies will open to the public near the Gate 1 of Chenshan Botanical Garden on Aug 18, free of charge.

Chenshan Botanical Garden features beautiful landscapes and over 9,000 distinctive plant species. Since it's opening, the garden has received many domestic and foreign tourists, including more than 300 research groups.
