Guangfulin Relic Park, located in the south of the Sheshan National Tourist Resort, features a prehistoric cultural relic in the Neolithic Age with an area of 40,000 square meters. It reproduces Shanghai's ancient way of life and ancient Guangfulin culture in Songjiang district.
The relic park includes different exhibition areas showcasing folk culture, religious culture and local historical heritage. The ten sub-exhibition parts opened for the trail operation for local residents include the Guangfulin Culture Museum, Zhiye Temple, the Duoyun Academy and the Pottery Museum.
The Guangfulin Culture Museum includes three buildings which are partially underwater, making for a spectacular scene in the park. The three buildings feature displays of cultural relics, reproductions of folk customs from the Han dynasty (206 BC-AD220) and the telling of stories of important historical figures in ancient Shanghai.
