The annual grassland music festival at Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden celebrated its 10th anniversary with two concerts on May 22 and 23.
The "Romantic French Night" concert that was staged on May 22 presented a symphony gala by the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra for music lovers.
Yu Long, the symphony conductor, was also the one who led the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra at the first Chenshan Grassland Music Festival in 2012.
The "Long March" concert given by the Shanghai Conservatory of Music on May 23 marked the 100th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of China.
