Fine species from Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden are on display at the 10th China Flower Expo in Chongming Island in Shanghai, which runs from May 21 to July 2.
The botanical garden selected 127 plants covering 71 species, such as orchids, water lilies, and irises, for the expo, which were more than other Shanghai exhibitors in both total plant number and varieties.
Visitors will get a chance to see flowers that bloom out of season as Chenshan gardeners have used technology to adjust the blossoming period of some plants for the expo to ensure that every exhibit is at their best.
