The Chenshan Botanic Garden in Shanghai will be presenting an annual showcase of waterlilies from Aug 18 to Sept 18.
More than 10,000 plants from over 300 species will be exhibited. More than 10 species will be making their debut at the garden.
Among the highlights are the new species cultivated at Chenshan and showcased at the 10th China Flower Expo in Shanghai's Chongming island earlier this year.
A leading institution dedicated to the collection, conservation and cultivation of plant species in China, Chenshan has been hosting the annual showcase of waterlilies for six consecutive years.
This year, the exhibition has five chapters and will allow visitors to admire exhibits placed within water tanks and ponds across the garden.
