Shanghai Playa Maya Water Park, which only opens in summer, is holding the 2022 Summer Water Carnival to offer visitors an enticing getaway from the summer heat.
The water park is spread over 200,000 square meters and is a hugely popular summer resort in Shanghai because of the range and quality of the facilities and various exciting activities.
During the water carnival, the water park offers visitors numerous opportunities for amusement, such as water parties, water-splashing activities, squirt gun fights, and other water games.
In addition to water-themed entertainment activities, visitors can also watch dynamic music and dance performances while in the water. Fitness lovers can exercise with fitness instructors who will perform four sets of aerobics a day at the park.
The park's exciting rides will also fuel visitors' fun at the carnival. There are various water rides and family play areas that can satisfy visitors of all ages.
The park has more than 100 large-scale water amusement facilities, including some of the world's top aquatic amusement facilities, which create a cool fun oasis for visitors. It also boasts advanced water treatment systems and facilities for diving lovers to enjoy themselves underwater.
Among the famous rides are the Super Horn, the Octopus Slid, and the Magic Water Town. Many of the park's rides are imported from Canada.
The water park has also extended its opening hours. It is open from 9:30 am to 10:00 pm on weekdays and from 9:30 am to 10:30 pm on weekends until Aug 28.
