Hilton Shanghai Songjiang Guangfulin, a hotel in Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park, recently unveiled special treats for the upcoming Christmas Day on Dec 25.
From 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Christmas Eve on Dec 24, buffet dinners priced at 888 yuan ($127.24) per seat and 788 yuan per seat will be offered at customers' choices of restaurants on the hotel's first floor.
Band performances, interactive games and lucky draws will also be held to create a festive atmosphere.
The hotel is also offering Christmas Afternoon Tea priced at 398 yuan for a two-person set at the Star Lobby Lounge until Dec 25.
On Nov 24, also known as Thanksgiving Day in North America, the hotel started this year's holiday celebration with a Christmas lighting ceremony.
Hilton Shanghai Songjiang Guangfulin is located in Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park, which is known as the "Root of Shanghai", in Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort in Shanghai's Songjiang district.
Referred to as "a tranquil stay in Songjiang", the hotel features a design inspired by the traditional idea of a "waterside courtyard residence". It is located close to Fulin Lake and faces Sheshan Mountain to the north. Guests can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the scenic area while dining at the hotel.
The hotel's four restaurants have their own characteristics. Kitchen Craft restaurant offers all-day dining with a buffet and made-to-order chef specialties and Star offers a wide range of drinks and sweet treats. Qing Ya serves local specialties and Cantonese delicacies, and the Japanese restaurant, Ra-Don, serves ramen, rice bowls and snacks.
The restaurants offer delicacies with seasonal and local characteristics. The Chinese restaurant at the hotel has eight special private rooms with independent entrances, and can hold eight to 30 people each.
The hotel has 244 elegant Zen guest rooms and suites, with an average area of about 56 square meters. Its unique lake-view courtyard rooms are equipped with a private courtyard, a direct view of Fulin Lake and allow guests to have a panoramic view of Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park. The hotel's special Fulin suite can accommodate up to six people. The suite has an area of about 300 sq m and consists of two guest rooms, a luxurious bathroom, a reception room, a study room, dining and kitchen spaces, a lake-view restaurant and three balconies offering beautiful views of Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park.
The hotel is about 25 kilometers away from Shanghai Hongqiao Comprehensive Transportation Hub and about 60 km away from Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
