Guangfulin Prime Hotel, a garden hotel in Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park, recently unveiled special treats for the upcoming Christmas Eve on Dec 24 and Christmas Day on Dec 25.
According to the hotel, a special buffet dinner featuring nearly 100 kinds of dishes will be offered from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on the two festive days at the restaurant on the hotel's first floor. The buffet dinner is currently open for reservations.
Spanish ham, bluefin tuna, peony shrimp, Christmas Roasted Turkey, American Christmas ham, pan fried baby lobster with lemon butter sauce, steamed hairy crab, a 1.2-meter Christmas Strawberry Tower, and a Pink Chocolate Fountain will be offered to guests.
The buffet dinner on Christmas Eve is priced at 698 yuan ($100.03) per person for adults and 398 yuan per person for children under 1.4 meters in height.
The buffet dinner on Christmas Day is priced at 598 yuan per person for adults and 298 yuan per person for children under 1.4 meters in height.
The hotel plans to sell 100 meal vouchers every night from Dec 24 to 25.
The guests can enjoy an unlimited number of visits to the hotel's Children's Playground and Water Play Center.
Before enjoying the food, guests can also have fun at nearby attractions as the hotel is situated near a number of historical and cultural scenic spots at Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park, which also showcases the local history of the area. Nearby attractions also include Sheshan National Forest Park and Thames Town.
After a day of fun, guests can relax in the massage room and spa, and soak their feet in a foot bath at the hotel.
They can also choose to stay overnight at the hotel after fishing dinner. Guangfulin Prime Hotel has 161 guest rooms, and all have independent balconies and more than 40 are loft-style rooms. The hotel also has multi-functional conference rooms, recreational facilities, fitness centers, bars, 31 dining rooms, and Chinese and Western restaurants and cafes.
The hotel lobby was designed to resemble the former residence of Xia Yan, a prime minister during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The overall design of the 40,000-square-meter hotel integrates elements from Hui-style architecture and Suzhou Gardens with modern aesthetics.
Guangfulin Prime Hotel is located about 10 km away from Songjiang Railway Station and about 30 kilometers away from Hongqiao International Airport. It is also adjacent to Songjiang University Town.
