Chenshan Botanical Garden says it with blooming flowers

Spring is in full swing and flowers are blooming one after another. The Chenshan Botanical Garden in East China's Shanghai has some stunning new floral attractions to offer.

Compared with the early and mid-season cherry blossoms, which are elegant and graceful, the late cherry blossoms tend to cluster together in lively bunches, like balls of delight hanging on branches.

Right now, the Chenshan Botanical Garden has pure white, light pink, dark pink and light green late cherry blossoms coming out in succession.

The Wisteria is a deciduous woody vine of the genus Wisteria in the legume family. It has odd-pinnate compound leaves, drooping racemes and calyx bell-shaped flowers. It is a famous flowering vine in China and is grown throughout the country.

China has a long history of cultivating the plant. It has been recorded as early as the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Its purple flowers resemble a vibrantly colored fantasy waterfall and they have been loved by literati since ancient times.

The beautiful flowers of Nemophila menziesii, also known as baby blue eyes, are also in full bloom in the Chenshan Botanical Garden.

Nemophila menziesii is an herbaceous plant of the borage family. It has a height of 20-30 centimeters. Its flowers have five petals and a diameter of about 2-3 centimeters. The flowers are blue to light blue, with a white center and sometimes dark spots or veins.
