The Sheshan National Tourist Resort in Shanghai's Songjiang district has prepared a variety of exciting activities for visitors this May. Here are some of the activities it has lined up.
Shanghai Chinese Roses Exhibition 2023

Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden has a 6,000-square-meter Chinese rose island with nearly 1,000 varieties of Chinese roses. The exhibition also showcases the cultivation and breeding process of Chinese roses.
The Chenshan Botanical Garden covers a total area of 207 hectares, making it the largest botanical garden in East China. The garden area used to be occupied by old residential compounds, rice-farming plots and a limestone cave before the local government in 2004 decided it would become a place to grow and study plants.
Today, Chenshan is a national 4A-level scenic spot and member of the international community of botanical gardens, as well as a leading facility dedicated to the collection, conservation and cultivation of plants in China.

Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park offers visitors a chance to explore the origins of Shanghai and the city's ancient way of life through a series of well-preserved relics. The historical site was recognized as a 4A-level scenic area in 2020, the highest in China being 5A. It is about 30 kilometers away from downtown Shanghai.

A must-visit attraction within the Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort, the Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park is now holding a science popularization exhibition featuring insects and contemporary art.

Mother's Day study class
To celebrate Mother's Day, which falls on the second weekend in May, the Shanghai Jegoplay Too Pancoat Park will hold an interactive workshop themed on skincare. Mothers and their children will get to craft hand creams and learn skincare tips during this activity.
Shanghai Jegoplay Too Pancoat Park is a large-scale outdoor parent-child amusement park that opened on Sept 24, 2022, offering a fresh choice for families looking to enjoy fun outside activities in the city.
The park is located inside Shangahai Yuehu Sculpture Park, a popular tourist attraction in the resort. There are mountains, a forest, and a lake near the park, providing a pleasant ecological environment and natural scenery.
