Movie enthusiasts and nature lovers can enjoy a special night out at Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden, which is now hosting a drive-in cinema and a greenhouse night tour.

The drive-in cinema, located in the parking lot of Gate 2 of Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden, covers an area of 14,000 square meters and can accommodate more than 100 cars. The venue is now screening the latest movies on a giant screen.

Next to the cinema, visitors can also explore the greenhouse, which houses a variety of rare plants, succulents, and tropical flowers and fruits.
Tickets:
(1) Drive-in cinema only
Monday to Thursday
Sedan: 123 yuan ($17.16)/car; SUV: 126 yuan/car.
Friday
Sedan: 145 yuan/car; SUV: 155 yuan/car.
(2) Greenhouse night tour and drive-in cinema combo
Saturday and Sunday
One adult and one child night tour + sedan: 358 yuan/set, additional person 108 yuan.
One adult and one child night tour + SUV: 368 yuan/set, additional person 108 yuan.
Ticket refund policy:
The drive-in cinema allows ticket refunds up to six hours in advance and ticket changes up to two hours in advance.
The night tour tickets are fully refundable if canceled more than three days before the event; 50 percent refundable if canceled two to three days before the event; non-refundable if canceled within one day before the event.
The night tour is conducted in groups of 30 people based on registrations three days before the event. If the group is not formed, the fee will be refunded. The activity will only be canceled in the event of bad weather such as typhoon, thunderstorm, or rainstorm.
